Note: The area of sports is in a location easily reached from Catania and from all the surrounding metropolitan municipalities and this allows to use the service without having to penetrate social and recreational traffic in the urban cities and towns, with a great advantage of economy management. The project is divided into three major and distinct functional areas: Area soccer fields: sports activities designed to open, represents the largest surface area of sports and falls almost entirely within the main soil plains; Area fitness: physical activity aimed at strengthening, rehabilitation and care of the body, falls almost entirely on a terraced land as compensation for a steep gradient suitably used for the construction of basements and basement floors; Area “Noria” intended for recreational area and representation, strongly characterized by the presence of “Noria”, placed under the constraint of the Superintendent BB.CC.AA. of Catania.
